Clown lamp has seen better days.

Someone has done the impossible: created a CUTE MIME.

Meet Thaddeus:

I have a piece of this artist's work, and they're gorgeously made and just absolutely adorable. There's nothing I hate more than a mime, but I'm in love with this little dude.

Please note that I'm in no way affiliated with this artist when I say this: go check out her other work. You WILL see at least ten things you want. She also does custom work. Check out her sold items - as well as the "usual" stuffed animals, she's made narwhals, tapirs and, my personal favorite, El Chupacabra!

And make sure you read the item descriptions - each one has a unique personality that will crack you up.

Moscow has way better toys than we do.

These are handmade wooden dolls from the opening of the first McDonalds in the Soviet Union.

Did I mention that I own a set of them? They are AWESOME. A little creepy, but awesome.

And a big thank you to sender-inner John for all the nightmares.

Welcome to my second-ever jumbo post! You can find the first one here:

I just checked the email attached to this blog for the first time in weeks - I know, I fail, thank you all you writer-inners (writers-inner?), I really do love you all! - and found a truly epic set of scary clown images from John of My First Sing-Along Dictionary fame.

These clowns hail from the National Haunters convention, taken by the submitter's friends - just for him! (But seriously, man, maybe you should look into making some new friends.)

And these are bad, you guys, REALLY bad. You might want to pop some Valium or swig a little Pepto before proceeding.

Don't say I didn't warn you.

I personally find this one to be the worst. It's like something that Todd McFarlane would reject for being too effed-up.

John, you're a rockstar.

Heart and soulless

You get a second clown today. Because I love you.

For the birthday boy or girl who's been very, VERY bad.

Ouchy the Clown.

You can't fool me.

I just know there are at least twelve more clowns in there. The Trojans could have learned a lot from clowns.

What's he doing to that bear?

Never mind. I don't want to know.

To be honest, I'm not sure what's going on on this cake.

Is it supposed to be a horrific tableau of imminent death? A frosted peek into Salvador Dali's fever dreams? Or just a well-intentioned but ultimately weird and creepy cake?

Bento the Clown.

Seriously, it'd be a good name for a clown, wouldn't it?

I guess the maker isn't a big fan of clowns either...notice the eyes and expression! But my favorite part is the squirting flower on his lapel. Truly a work of food art.

In all fairness, this one is supposed to be scary.

Boy howdy does it succeed. (And yes, it does light up, surprisingly well too.)

I stole this gem from one of the best sites on the web, x-entertainment.com.
