I bet he's one of those guys who thinks he's super good with kids, but kids get a weird pedo vibe from him. And he probably has cold clammy hands. And wears socks with sandals. Shudder.
I concur with your entire statement.
Poor guy. Some people just seem creepy and child molester-y no matter what. But dressing up like a clown DOES NOT HELP. I remember once a clown tried to get me to ride a pony. Now, I LOVED ponies as a kid, but I wasn't going off with no clown. He tried to get me to give the pony a carrot...then tried to give me candy. I held onto my dad's leg and refused to make eye contact until he went away. I still think I made the right call.
