It's so wrong. I hate things with gross mouths and sort of misshapen eyes. I never thought that Disney's Quasimodo was cute for that reason.
This thing's mouth looks like it's from one of those racist black caricature dolls. Golliwogs, I think they're called?
Anyway, yeah, it's grotesque. I can't imagine the people who ever owned it.
And yeah, Quasimodo was still effin ugly. I never actually saw that movie though - after Pocahontas I quit seeing Disney in theaters, and I didn't bother with that one on VHS.
I never saw it either. I think I saw Pocahontos on VHS...Lion King was probably my last Disney in theaters.
And yeah, that is very golliwog esque now that you mention it.
Pocahontas was the last one I saw in theaters - it was so bad I think I sensed the end of the Disney renaissance.
