This is the kind of thing that well meaning people buy to make themselves look whimsical, but instead, it's like discovering someone has a Ted Bundy pop up baby book. (Creepier, actually.)
I can't really talk, as someone who has a bunch of mismatched thrift store glasses, most of which have funny pictures on them. But damn, even I wouldn't bring this one home!
I actually like the idea of weird, quirky, or crazy glasses. (I like to refer to my sort of rippled ones as crazy glasses.) And if someone handed me a normal glass or the clown one, I suppose I'd choose the clown one. But I think I'd prefer a crazy picture of something that wasn't a clown. You know, maybe Peter Rabbit or a teddy bear or some Jurassic Park dinosaurs. Hell, my favorite glasses at my parents' house are still the Flinstones and Batman ones.
Do you guys have the Flintstones mugs from McDonalds from the live action movie promotion? I admit to nothing, but I MAY still have the complete set.
I would love Jurassic Park or Peter Rabbit glasses. At my age I should probably look into getting some grown-up glassware and whatnot, but...eh. I like what I like. It's not like I'm hosting black tie affairs over here.
Yes, as a matter of fact, we do! The Jurassic Park ones are also from McDonalds when one of the movies came out (I think Lost World or the third one).
